HIGHLIGHTS
- The South Tyneside Summer Parade burst with pride with thousands of people taking part and flying pride flags.
- We staged the first Pride in Hebburn bringing retailers and community groups together.
- Over 100 dogs, and their owners, enjoyed a wet but fun day at Pride Pooches in Jarrow.
- The borough brought the X-Factor with Joe McElderry’s Big Pride Party at The Customs House and Jade Thirlwall threw an amazing After Pride Party at Arbeia.
- Libraries across South Tyneside had LGBTQ+ book displays.
- The sun shone – for the first time in a long time – at the Pride in South Tyneside concert which attracted 20,000 people.
